Trowa is without his Gundam for some time when he returns to space. When he and the Heavyarms are reunited, Howard and his crew must upgrade the Heavyarms for space combat. Besides the additional verniers, the only real boost the Heavyarms needs is and additional beam gatling attached to the pre-existing one. It is simply more firepower for an already powerful suit.
