The Hobbitjedi - Resident Evil: Gamecube Remake
I don't know why I bought this game. Well, I actually do. I wanted to try something different from my usual gaming fare. Resident Evil certainly fit the bill and the graphics were simply amazing. Controls are a little awkward. They steal your ability to control the camera angle as well in order to set up eerie shots. Is the game good? I think so. Is it creepy? Well, let's just say I don't play it alone at night in a darkened house.
Characters
You play the game as either Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine. Jill has a slightly easier time in the game, while Chris has to tough it out a bit more. Each has a slightly different story which gives the game some good replay value.

The Story
A series of unusual murders, victims appear to have been eaten, in the remote mountain community of Raccoon City is being investigated by the elite S.T.A.R.S task force of the local police agency. The Bravo team was sent in first, but contact was lost. You, as part of the Alpha team, are sent in with your comrades to find out what happened and resolve the murder cases. What happens next could be the most horrific few hours of you life. A member of your team is attacked by decaying, zombie dogs, your helicopter pilot abandons you, and the only safe place to go seems to be a mansion deep in the forest. Safe, it is not.
Low on ammo and seemingly cut off from the world, you must solve the mysteries of the Spencer Mansion. The mansion is not unoccupied. Zombies and other horrors are lurking around every corner, literally, making your investigation and attempt to get free of the mansion that much more difficult. Behind it all is a bizarre genetic experiment gone wrong, a mysterious organization, and possible betrayal by one of your own.
Run guys! Run! You'll be doing a lot of this in the game.
